Gandhinagar Institute of Technology was established by Platinum Foundation Trust in December 2006. The Institute is affiliated to Gujarat Technological University and approved by AICTE New Delhi. The Trust is registered under Public Trust Act, having Registration No. E-17490 dated 19 June 2006 at Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
