A Report on An Online Session on “Meditation for Beginners.”

The Women Development Cell of Gandhinagar Institute of Technology organised an online session on “Meditation for Beginners” on 18th October,2021 for the female students of GIT. The expert for the session was Dr Aanal Rawal from Swatva Yoga Studio, Gandhinagar. She explained about what is meditation and different techniques to do the meditation. She started her talk with some question and answer session, continued with some practical experience of meditation and answered the queries of students. She refreshed the participants with some sitting warm up exercises in between the session. She also talked about the benefits of doing meditation and also informed about the best time to do the meditation. The session provided a deep state of relaxation and a tranquil mind to all the female participants of GIT.
