CAMPUS FACILITIES

Infrastructure

The institute offers the best of academic and physical infrastructure to its students with 45 Classrooms, 6 Departmental Seminar Rooms, 11 Tutorial Rooms, Computer Centre, Library, Seminar Hall of about 250 capacity for conducting seminars, workshops and training program. The Institute possesses all the necessary teaching aids like multimedia projector, OHP etc. for interactive learning. The campus has a serene academic ambiance that motivates students to focus on development and all round growth.

Campus

The lush green campus of GIT is located on the outskirts of Ahmedabad/Gandhinagar near Vadsar Air force base, about 13 kms from Gota cross road on Sarkhej-Gandhinagar Highway, in complete harmony with nature. Being away from the city, the picturesque location provides a refreshing environment in which students can pursue their studies peacefully and undisturbed. It is a place where tranquility acquires a new dimension and where modern architecture blends with traditional values to heighten the spirit of continuous learning.

Resource Centre

GIT boasts of Resource Centre that has a large collection of books on technical, science, management and general topics. The Resource Centre is fully automated and managed through Library Management software ``SOUL 2.0``. Large number of national and international journals, periodicals and magazines are subscribed in print as well as electronic format. CDs, DVDs are also available for self-learning. The Resource Centre is connected to global e-journal literature. It provides seamless access to millions of journal articles from various reputed publishers like Elsevier, ASME, IEEE, Springer, Wiley Blackwell, McGraw Hill, EBSCO etc.

Sports’ Facilities

 

The Institute has excellent sports facilities comprising synthetic grounds for cricket, volleyball, football etc. Facilities for indoor games such as table tennis, chess, carom etc. are also available.

State of the Art Laboratory

GIT has state of the art laboratories which are spacious and well equipped with all necessary equipments and instruments in all departments.

Wi-Fi Enabled Campus

The entire campus of GIT is Wi-Fi enabled which facilitates the students to access the internet from anywhere in the campus.

Students' Store

The students' store runs on 'no profit, no loss basis' and provides all the necessary study material, stationery, instrument, photocopying facility etc. to the student.

Canteen

The canteen caters healthy and wholesome food and beverages during the college hours.

Computing Facilities

The computing facilities at the campus include modern computer laboratories with latest configuration computers, modern software and high speed servers. The network connects every corner of the institute having 24*7 internet connectivity. Language laboratories are equipped with the latest software to aid modern language teaching.

Transportation

The institute has fleet of buses plying in all the areas of Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar for students, faculty and staff members. Apart from these facilities, the AMTS service is also available from major parts of the city.

Open Air Theatre & ATM

The open air theatre at GIT is spacious enough to accommodate around 2000 students comfortably.

State Bank of India ATM is operative in the campus.
