The Healthy Campus Committee (HCC) of Gandhinagar Institute of Technology is going to organize ‘Drug Abuse and Fitness Awareness Programme’ on 11/02/2020, to create awareness about drug abuse and narcotics among students and motivate them to adapt fitness as a lifestyle. Shri Harish Kumar (Superintendent, Narcotics Control Bureau, MHA, GoI) will be the chief guest for the programme. A popular ‘Gym and Fitness’ centre will visit our institute and carry out BMI (Body Mass Index) and obesity checks for everyone. Events like ‘Graffiti’, ‘Fitness Challenge’ and ‘ Critical Thinking’ will be organized keeping the underlying theme in mind. Participants from different institutes will also participate in the event.
